The Sofia is the whole outfit. Thin straps and a sweetheart neckline sit above a bodice seamed to follow the body, and below the waist the skirt breaks into panels and opens into a clean A line. A punched trim runs along the hem and a slim belt with gold hardware draws in the waist. It is cool and smooth under the hand and soft enough to fall rather than stand, which is what lets the panels do their work: the skirt swings away from the leg instead of hanging flat, and moves like something far lighter than it looks. Black, with nothing printed and nothing added, means there is nothing on it competing with the cut. Wear it with the Noelle Fur Jacket.
